EXHIBITION HISTORY
Encounter the works beyond the screen.
Seeing abstract art on a screen gives you an initial impression of its colour and composition, but an original changes when you stand in front of it. Scale, surface, texture and the way light moves across the painting become clearer in person. That is why exhibitions and studio visits are an important part of Susanne Grahn’s artistic practice. The studio is located at Sköldvägen 2 in Åkersberga and can be visited by appointment. You can contact Susanne by email or phone to find a suitable time. A recurring local event is Konst i Roslagen. On 26–27 September 2026, the studio at Sköldvägen 2 in Åkersberga will be open from 10–17 on both Saturday and Sunday. That same weekend, Susanne will also participate in the juried group exhibition at Länsmansgården. For anyone who wants to see several works in person and meet the artist at the same time, the open studio is a great opportunity. Current opening times should always be checked here on the website before your visit in case any details change. The exhibition history also includes Affordable Art Fair Stockholm from 30 September–4 October 2026. Earlier in 2026, there is Stenhallen Galleri on Öland from 18–23 July, an exhibition in Nerja, Spain, from 20 April–5 May, and representation at Hägernäs Strands Galleri in Täby from 24 January–4 March. Susanne has therefore exhibited works locally in the Stockholm area as well as in other parts of Sweden and abroad. During 2025, she was represented by Kabusa Art Gallery in Österlen, a relationship that extended from October 2021 to November 2025. The 2024 history includes Galleri Stenhallen on Öland, Galleri Sjöhästen in Nyköping, Stockholms Konstsalong in Nacka and Hägernäs Strands Galleri in Täby. The different settings also demonstrate something characteristic of abstract art: the same work can be experienced differently depending on the room, the light and the other paintings displayed alongside it. In 2023, the exhibition history included Galleri SoHo in Fuengirola, Galleri Svea and Galleri Riddaren in Gamla stan, Galleri Sjöhästen in Nyköping, Romele Konsthall, Galleri Englesson in Gothenburg, Roddarhuset Art Gallery, Galleri Skånegatan 86 in Stockholm, Konstkuppen in Gothenburg, Museo Baron de Benifayo in Murcia and Galleri Stenhallen on Öland. This represents a broad geographical spread across Stockholm, the west coast, Skåne, Öland and Spain. There are also several entries for 2022: Galleri Riddaren, Galleri Sjöhästen, the juried Konst i Roslagen group exhibition at Länsmansgården, the open studio in Åkersberga, Konstkuppen in Gamlestaden in Gothenburg, Roddarhuset Art Gallery, Galleri Ekvall + Törnblom on Hornsgatan in Stockholm and Galleri Konstlobbyn in Täby Centrum. Before that, the history includes Kabusa Art Gallery in Österlen and Galleri Konstlobbyn, and extends further back to exhibitions at venues including Lidingö Saluhall, Triften in Täby and Smörkransen in Österskär during 2019–2021. When is Konst i Roslagen 2026?

Is Susanne’s art only exhibited in Stockholm?
No. Her exhibition history includes many locations in Sweden as well as Spain. Entries include Österlen, Öland, Nyköping, Gothenburg and Täby, as well as Fuengirola, Murcia and Nerja. The geographical spread has varied from year to year.
Why see an original in person?
A screen shows the image, but not the full experience of its size, surface and how the colours change with the light. In a studio or exhibition, you can take a few steps back, compare several works and experience how the painting works in a physical space.
Can I enquire about a work after a visit?
